《大泽之水》剧情介绍
This film is often recognized as the debut American project of director Jean Renoir in 1941. However, it has been revealed by Renoir scholar Alexander Sesonske that Renoir faced significant obstacles from producer Darryl F. Zanuck, resulting in his creative input being limited. Renoir himself did not consider a large portion of the film to truly reflect his vision, with Zanucks involvement even extending to the writing of the ending which was directed by Irving Pichel.
