Shinobu and her classmates are busy rehearsing for a play to be performed at their schools cultural festival. Meanwhile, Aya is feeling a bit disconnected from Shinobu as she realizes they do not share any childhood memories from elementary school. This realization prompts Aya to reflect on their past experiences together. In a flashback, we are taken to the time when Shinobu, Yoko, and Aya were in their final year of middle school, preparing for their high school entrance exams.
