Ace Ventura, the pet detective who had been living in seclusion at a temple below the Himalayas, has made a comeback! This time, he takes on a tricky task: a giant white bat has gone missing in a certain African country, and this bat is a sacred object for both the Vacha tribe and the Vachuchu tribe, sparking a conflict between the two tribes and putting them on the brink of a deadly feud. The embassy officials of the country seek Aces help, hoping he can mend the relationship to prevent a bloodbath. Initially suspecting the thief to be the director of the countrys wildlife park, Ace struggles to find evidence. He then shifts his suspicion to a tribal sorcerer, but still hits a dead end. Just then, Ace gets shot by a blow dart, narrowly escaping an ambush by two poachers. In a twist of events, Ace discovers that the white bat is in their possession. Through numerous trials and embarrassing mishaps, Ace eventually uncovers that the real thief is none other than the ambassador himself, who orchestrated the tribal conflict to solely control the valuable resource of bat guano.
